Total Beauty Collection Mystery Box ~ June 2013

One of the blogs I follow, posted about a "mystery" box from Total Beauty Collection that was supposed to contain 13+ beauty products, with a retail value of $100. The cost of this box was $20! There was also a coupon code, which further reduced my out of pocket by $2. So, I paid $18, with free shipping for the Total Beauty Collection Mystery Box.

Unfortunately, after reading a thread on Make Up Talk, I noticed someone had posted another coupon code, that made this box only $16! Darn it! I jumped the gun too soon, lol. On the other hand, the box did sell out the same day it was posted, so I felt lucky to be getting it at all!

So what did I get? Take a look!

 7 ~ 7.1 g EBOOST Daily Health Booster (retail value $9.80)

30 ct. Q-Tip Purse Pack (retail value $.97)

1oz.The Honest Company Healing Balm (retail value $4.31)

1 oz.The Honest Company Face & Body Lotion (retail value $ 1.17)

2 oz. Evolvh Ultra Shine Moisture Shampoo (retail value $5.64)
2 oz. Evolvh Ultra Shine Moisture Conditioner (retail value $5.88)

.17 oz. Candlenut Body Creme (retail value $.79)

.14 oz NYX Color Lip Balm in Xie Xie (retail value $3.00)

1.5 g NYX Roll-On Shimmer Glitter in Mauve Pink (retail value $4.00)

10 g Boscia Luminizing Black Mask (retail value $4.25)

ALFAPARF Semi Di Lino Diamante Cristalli Liquidi Illuminating Serum (retail value $ ??)

Neutrogena Naturals Lip Balm (retail value $2.99)

Ferro Cosmetics Susie's Glow Mineral Blush (retail value $5.66)
Ferro Cosmetics Terra Cotta Mineral Blush (retail value $5.66)

The Susie's Glow was not as full as the Terra Cotta, not sure why.....

Last, but not least.....the dreaded "gift card." The ladies over at Make Up Talk were not happy about this, and neither am I! I just got one of these in my Love with Food Box. I don't drink wine, so I won't be using either of these. Both of "gift cards" are up for grabs. If you would like one, please leave a comment below with your e-mail address, and I will e-mail you the code. For the specifics on redeeming the gift card, please see my Love with Food link above.

(retail value of Naked Wines gift card $0)

The overall retail value of this box is $54.12, not including the illuminating hair serum & Naked Wines gift card.  Not exactly the $100 value Total Beauty was advertising.....but still a value, I suppose.

I don't think I'll be ordering anything from this company again.

I felt the exact same way about the box. When I opened it and found a treasure trove of items, I was initially enthused, but that quickly waned. The moment I saw that card... 'You've got to be kidding me!' I can't even use it in my state. I'm giving mine away too.
