Le Parcel ~ A Women's Monthly Subscription Service ~ Every Month Without Fail

I recently found out about a women's monthly subscription service, called Le Parcel . I contacted them to see if they would like me to review their service. They generously sent me this box for free, in exchange for my honest feedback.

Each month Le Parcel sends you a variety of tampons, pads & panty liners, on or before the date you need it. In addition to feminine products, Le Parcel also send a cosmetic, beauty product or jewelery item & chocolate as their gift to you!

You can choose from trusted brands for feminine protection, including Playtex Sport, Playtex Gentle Glide, Tampax, Tampax Pearl, Kotex, U by Kotex, O.B. & O.B Pro Comfort. You'll receive 30 of any combination of tampons, pads & panty liners you choose. All products are offered in a variety of different sizes & styles, depending on your brand of choice.

The cost of Le Parcel is $15 a month, plus shipping. When I plugged in my info, shipping was $5.00 to my address, however, I don't believe shipping is a $5 flat rate to all areas. I believe it's dependent on where you live.

A variety of U by Kotex Tampons, Pads & liners.

Me Om Mandarin Lotus Petal Hand Cream
2 oz. ~ Full Size $10.49

Ghiradelli Chocolate Squares in Hazelnut Crisp
1 oz. ~ Retail Value $.91
A little melted, but still tasty!

The retail value of my box exceeded the $15 price tag. It's hard to determine the value of the U by Kotex products I received, because prices vary, depending on the style, and I'm not exactly sure which styles I received.  The cost of the hand cream & the chocolates are worth $11.40 on their own, and I definitely received more than $3.60 in U by Kotex products.   If  you subscribe to Le Parcel, I would suggest only requesting pads and/or tampons to maximize what you receive for the price, because liners are ultra cheap, even free with coupons. So, if you hate shopping for feminine care products or seem to forget to stock up when it's that time of the month, I'd definitely give Le Parcel a try! Print Friendly and PDF

I recently found out about a monthly subscription service called Kona Kase. I contacted them to see if they would like me to review their service. They generously sent me this box for free, in exchange for my honest feedback.

Each month Kona Kase sends you a variety of snacks to sample, that will help fuel your active lifestyle. Each Kase has an assortment of 8 premium nutrition samples from gels to bars to granola and more. Each Kase aims to help you fuel peak performance. The cost of Kona Kase is $15 a month, including shipping. You are charged on the 5th of each month & boxes are shipped out on 10th of each month.

If you would like to sign up for Kona Kase, please click here.

Unfortunately, I was missing one of the samples that was suppose to be in my kase. I was suppose to get a sample of Barbara Llewellyn Granola. I contacted Kona Kase & reported the missing sample. I will post an update if and/or when I get a response!

Update:  I was told that some of the boxes that were sent out to bloggers were missing this item because they ran out. Although, I was not offered a replacement sample, I was assured that they do not run out of samples for people who are subscribed.

The retail value of my Kona Kase, excluding the missing granola sample is $13.01. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the granola sample is worth approx. $2.00, bringing the value of the box to right around $15.00. All of the samples I received with the exception of the Perky Jerky, appear to be full sized.  If you are interested in sampling products that will help fuel an active lifestyle, I recommend checking out Kona Kase

Cloud 9 Monthly Subscription Box ~ Taking you away from the everyday

I recently found out about a new monthly subscription service called Cloud 9. I contacted them to see if they would like me to review their service. They generously sent me this box for free, in exchange for my honest feedback.

Each month Cloud 9 sends you a variety of food and/or beauty items to sample. They don't specify how many samples you will receive each month, however, I received 6 samples & 1 full sized product! If you love one of the items featured in that month's box, you can purchase full size items directly from the retailers. The cost of Cloud 9 is $20.95 a month, including shipping. Boxes are sent out around the 15th of each month. Almost everything that was included was all natural too, which is a great plus!

The Cloud 9 box comes is a brightly colored orange box, with their logo on the front.

Welcome to Cloud 9!

Cloud 9 provides an information card with all of the products included in the box, including websites to retailers & promo codes to order full sized products.

Jaxn's Twice~Baked Potato Stix
1 oz. ~ Sample Value $.62

Geraldine's Key Lime Cookies
1 oz. ~ Sample Value $.62

These were delicious, but unfortunately my sample arrived crushed. It was most likely pounded my the 4 oz. jar of body butter included in the box. I contacted Cloud 9 about possibly adding box filler to protect the contents a bit better, and they seemed very receptive to the idea. So, hopefully we'll see that in upcoming boxes.

Vintage Bee Creamed Cinnamon & Lemon Honey
1.2 oz. ~ Sample Value $1.42

This looks like a very unique company, that I'm excited to try. I think I'll try the lemon in a cup of tea, and the cinnamon on buttered toast. Sounds delicious!

Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
0.5 fl oz. ~ Sample Value $1.19

I excited to give this coconut oil a try. I'm late to the bandwagon, and haven't actually tried coconut oil yet. I'll use this to saute some vegetables, since the packet only contains 1 tablespoon.

California Olive Ranch Extra Virgin Olive Oil for Everyday Meals
.4 fl oz. each ~ Sample Value $.47

Normally, I would be okay with receiving olive oil samples in a subscription box. I mean, it's definitely not the most exciting sample, but at least it is something that I'll use. I'm not sure why this particular brand is showing up in subscription boxes everywhere. You may remember that I received this exact same two pack sample in both The Goodies Co. & Love with Food in recent months, so I wasn't exactly excited to see this same sample reappear for a third time. But, I'll use it none the less.

Char Crust Original Hickory Grilled Dry Rub
0.5 oz. ~ Sample Value $.68

Although I'm excited to try this brand, since it's completely new to me, I'm somewhat concerned about being sent a "free sample." If someone wants a small sample, they can usually contact the company, and be sent one. I hope to see more deluxe sized samples that you could not otherwise get from a retailer, without having to purchase in the future. I guess the bottom line is, I wouldn't want to pay for something I could get for free.

Lisa Ann Skincare Coconut Lime Body Butter
4 oz. ~ Full Size $19.00

This is obviously the shining star of the box. This body butter is made of high quality shea butter & essential oils. The coconut lime fragrance is very light, but it definitely has a shea butter scent. A little goes a long way, and it's best used on rough areas, since it's a bit greasy. I think shea butter is just greasy naturally.

The retail value of my Cloud 9 box is $24.00. It's hard to determine what a subscription is like from one box, but from what I can gather from pictures of previous boxes, the high ticket item looks to be a beauty item. So, if you like to discover new beauty items, as well as sample delicious food items, then give Cloud 9 a try! Print Friendly and PDF
