Foodie Pen Pals ~ Feburary

This was my first month participating in the Foodie Pen Pals Program, hosted by Lindsay over at The Lean Green Bean.

This month I was paired up with Gigi from San Antonio,Texas. She sent me an array of goodies from local stores in her area.

Assortment of snacks from a bulk food store. I wish I had something like this near me! I loved the Wasabi Peas, and I'm on the hunt for more! 

From the bulk food store, I received Wasabi Peas, Cajun Party Mix, Green Bean Chips (reminded Gigi of The Lean Green Bean) & Cherry Yogurt Pretzels. Also included was another bigger Yogurt Covered Pretzel with Valentine Sprinkles! Gigi was so thoughtful & also included Valentine's Day cards for my 7 and 5 year old!

Pioneer Brand Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix and Sweet Yellow Corn Muffin Mix. Yum!

Postcard from San Antonio with handwritten note & recipe for Garlic Honey Chicken Wings! When Gigi e-mailed me, I told her I had a bag of chicken wings in my freezer, that I didn't know what to do with, so she sent me both a recipe she loves & the two wings sauces above.

Thanks Gigi! I absolutely loved everything, and I can't wait to make the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings. I'll post the recipe here when I do.
