Seventh Generation Household & Personal Product Review

If you're like me, you've probably heard of the company Seventh Generation, but may have never had a chance to try their products. There are so many brands of household & personal care products out there, Seventh Generation is one of those brands that can be easily overlooked, because they are not "in your face," so to speak.

Seventh Generation is the nation's leading brand of household and personal care products that help protect human health and the environment. Their products use natural fragrances derived from 100% essential oils and botanical extracts.

I was very excited to finally get to sample some of Seventh Generation's products! I received Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cloths, Mandarin Nourishing Body Wash, Lavender Moisturizing Lotion, Seventh Generation Baby Natural 4x Laundry Detergent, Wee Generation Baby Shampoo & Wash and Wee Generation Baby Lotion from Smiley360.

Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cloths
I love these & would definitely purchase them. I wear make-up on a daily basis & clean my face with cleanser in the shower, because it's just easier. By the time I'm ready for bed, I'm too tired to wash my face over the sink at night and often go to bed with my make-up on. Bad, I know! These make removing make-up a lot easier. They have a light mandarin scent & leave your face feeling clean and refreshed!

Mandarin Nourishing Body Wash
I liked this product, and I enjoyed the sweet smell of mandarin. My skin felt very clean and soft after using it. The only drawback I found, is that it doesn't "suds up" to the same degree as my current body wash, so I feel that I might be inclined to use more, to get the same effect.

Lavender Moisturizing Lotion
This lotion definitely has a stronger smell than any of the other products I sampled. This is not a bad thing, however. The lotion is non-greasy and absorbs into your skin almost immediately. Because it absorbs in the skin so rapidly, I think I would feel like a would need to reapply often.

Natural 4x Laundry Detergent
This laundry detergent has a very light, fresh scent. It has a premium stain fighting formula with quadruple enzymes. Hypoallergenic, gluten-free, effective in cold water and safe for high efficiency washing machines.  What really stood out to me, was what I saw on the back of the sample. Most products have safety information on what to do if a child swallows the product. Do you know what it says if this laundry detergent is swallowed? Drink plenty of water....That's it! Not call poison control, or 911. Just drink water. I think it's great that Seventh Generation makes an effective laundry detergent, that is not poisonous to our children.

Baby Shampoo & Wash
I went ahead and used this product on myself as a shampoo, because I didn't think my 5 year old would give me an accurate review. The scent was similar to the mandarin body wash, and I was able to get multiple uses out of the sample, so a little went a long way. I was happy with the amount of "suds" it produced, and my hair was squeaky clean after rinsing. This product is made with extra virgin olive oil, hypoallergenic & gluten free. It is also a no tear formula, and we all know how important that it!

Baby Lotion
I liked this lotion equally to the lavender lotion. This has the same absorbancy as the lavender lotion, but a light mandarin scent, which is more appropriate for babies/kids.
