Contacting Product Manufacturers to Recieve Coupons

This past Friday night I was browsing the "frugality" boards on Pinterest, and came across a pin about writing product manufacturers in hopes of receiving some great coupons.

I'm more of a "stockpile" couponer at the moment. If I find a great deal on an item, such as shampoo, instead of buying 2 or 3, I buy 20 with coupons purchased from Ebay. However, I'm horrible when it comes up to matching single coupons to the grocery ads on my everyday shopping.  I receive a copy of the Sunday inserts from the LA Times, but can't be bothered to clip the coupons I think I'll use! Bad, I know. I usually keep my inserts whole, and just clip one here or there if I read about a deal online.

I thought e-mailing manufacturers would be a good idea to have a stash of great coupons (usually with further out expiration dates) to have in my purse to use on the products I know use, or new products I want to try.

Bargain Blessings and Coupon Kungfu were both helpful to me in determining which companies to contact.

I'm going to contact over 250 companies, and I'll report back each week with the coupons I receive! I hope you take the time to do this too! I can't wait to start receiving all my envelopes of goodies from the mailman! It will be like Christmas everyday.  It's obviously going to take time to contact all these companies, so stay tuned and check back!

Airwick products make our house smell wonderful! My favorite scent is Island Paradise. I'm eager to try the color changing candle, but haven't yet.
